L-Methionine Produced with the World's First Eco-Friendly Fermentation Technology

Launched in 2015, L-Methionine is the brainchild of CJ BIO's unique technological excellence. The companys innovative fermentation technology has finally made the development of L-Methionine possible. Studies have proven that, compared to the petroleum-based DL-Methionine produced by market leaders through various chemical processes, CJ BIOs L-Methionine is 20-40% superior in terms of its relative bioavailability (a measurement of how efficiently it is absorbed into the body and how well it performs as an amino acid). The reason is that L-Methionine is the world's first eco-friendly bio-fermented amino acid.
Notably, a research team at North Carolina State University, which conducted a two-year feeding test on chickens and pigs, discovered that animals fed with L-Methionine are 138% and 143% better in terms of weight gain and feed efficiency, respectively, than those fed with DL-Methionine. The team also figured out that L-Methionine can improve intestinal development and promote anti-oxidation and egg production, too.
